About Me

Thanks for taking the time to visit!

I’m a freelance writer, ghostwriter, and adventure designer. I’ve been a tabletop gamer the entire time I’ve been sentient, and a role-playing addict for more than 30 years. In that time I’ve written countless things, from simple spell effects to D&D campaign worlds to complete role-playing games. Most of it sucked, but I learned from the process.

I’ve been privileged to present and participate panels at conventions, alongside such luminaries as Kenneth Hite and George R R Martin. (If you’re looking for a con panel, hit me up. From GM Tips & Tricks roundtables to “What makes a monster?” I can talk about it in an interesting and entertaining fashion.)

My other careers have led to some non-fiction writing. The love of my life, Kass McGann, is also a writer. She’s also a lecturer, presenter, historian, and driving force behind all manner of Evil Plans[tm]. Together, we own and operate Reconstructing History, which you should check out.

I’m also a musician and composer, having studied music under Adam Brennan at Mansfield University of PA.
